Patients using sildenafil to treat pulmonary arterial dysfunction will take Revatio, which is a 20mg dose of sildenafil, three times daily with or without a meal.

What are the common side effects?

The most common side effects of sildenafil use included headache, upset stomach, becoming red in the face, nasal congestion, sensitivity to light and/or blurred vision. Care should be taken by patients also taking protease inhibitors for the treatment of HIV.
